Key Deliverable: High-Performance Rural Education Portal | Core Tech: WordPress, Elementor, GeneratePress, VPS Hosting | Business Impact: Enabled uninterrupted access to free study guides and exam updates for rural students on low-bandwidth 3G networks.
We built and proactively maintain the official web portal for Sabarmathi Gurukulam — an institute in Cheyyar (Tiruvannamalai district) offering free coaching for school tuition and competitive exams including TNPSC, SSC, Banking, and IAS.
The Challenge
Sabarmathi Gurukulam needed a digital platform to share their mission, showcase student success stories, and provide study materials to students from rural backgrounds. The site had to look highly professional to build trust with donors and volunteers, but it also needed to load extremely fast on slow, rural mobile connections, especially during heavy traffic spikes when exam results are announced.
What We Built
Visual & Engaging Design
- Elementor Page Building: Utilized Elementor with the lightweight GeneratePress theme to craft a rich, interactive experience without compromising on speed.
- Brand Execution: Implemented their distinctive dark maroon branding across the site.
- Interactive Storytelling: Built interactive timeline sections to showcase the institution's history and animated hover-card galleries to highlight student events and success stories.
Infrastructure & Performance Optimization
- VPS Migration & Caching: Hosted the website on a high-speed, secure VPS with aggressive caching layers, ensuring assets load quickly even on 3G mobile networks.
- Uptime Monitoring: Configured active server alerts to instantly reboot services if memory spikes occur during sudden traffic surges (e.g., TNPSC exam result releases).
Security Protocols
- Platform Hardening: Installed robust malware firewalls, cleaned legacy core files, and set up daily encrypted backups to ensure the continuous availability of their educational resources.
Results
Achieved a visually engaging, modern educational portal that maintains 100% uptime during peak traffic events while keeping page load speeds fast for rural users.
